So I wish I could freeze time and never let my baby boy grow up. Sad to say I cant and he turned 2 on Friday. Time has flown by so much and i am in aww how big Dayton has gotten. He is very independent, funny, cute, talkative, outgoing, VERY loving...... this list can go on and on. He loves to copy his Daddy, dance around the house, read book and play with his puzzles. Its hard to believe Dayton is 2 and I cant imagine my live with out him.

PARTY TIME:
So this year we had a NASCAR Themed party and it was so much fun to celebrate 2 years with our friends and family. With some Smoked Ribs, Homeade Mac N Cheese, Baked Beans and a cute Racetrack Cake

Eric, Dayton and I had a wonderful busy fun filled family Christmas day and cant believe its all over. Hope everyone else had a wonderful Christmas, we also hope everyone has a fabulous 2010.

The new year will bring for us some great new challenges and big changes we are super excited.

For those who don't already know Eric and I both start school January 13. I will be getting an ASA Degree to be a Dental Hygienist and Eric will be getting a BS in probably Criminal Justice, he is still trying to figure out what route he wants to take. It's a little scary because we haven't been in school for a while Eric longer than me but we will get through it together and hopefully be successful.

I enjoy Halloween because i love the oh so cute costumes that people come up with and thanks to a good friend of mine we had one of the cute costumes. After about 3 days of working them they were done and ready to be shown off at our Church Fall Festival. This year Dayton dressed up as Nascar Driver Jimmie Johnson and his good friend Jakob dressed up as a Formula 1 Driver.
I am glad that he isnt old enough to tell me what he wants to be!!!!

Summer for the Williams

We have had a great summer so far. Dayton is growing so much and has such a great personality. I have posted a few pics of this summer hope this post isn't to long. LOL

~A couple of weeks ago i thought i would take Dayton on a Mommy&Son date. He probably doesnt know whats going but i still decided to take him to the park and grab an ice cream cone on the way home. Its great to hear him say thank you but the best part of the day was his smile and the excitement he had the whole time those are the moments that make my DAY.

DAYTON'S FIRST ZOO TRIP

Last month we took Dayton to the Zoo for the first time, and i am here to say i cant believe we didn't do it sooner. Dayton LOVED it so much and he had such a great time. Well I totally forgot the camera but good thing Eric as a pretty decent one on his phone or we wouldn't have gotten these pics of him. The first picture i could of taken a million times because he stood in the same spot for like 10 min, then when we tried to get him to walk he would like move 5 feet and go right back with his head in the posts. Next time i will hopefully remember the camera.

A few days ago Dayton and I went with some really good friends of ours to a fun little water park downtown. We have never been before and i cant believe it, Dayton had such a fun time it was fun to see him get use to the water coming out of the ground. It was a pretty cloudy day so there weren't that many kids so we had to park pretty much to themselves.

Eric has become a HUGE Nascar fan, so for one of his Fathers Day gifts we went down to Daytona for a fun filled Nascar day. With a behind the scene VIP tour, good lunch, a few hours watching a 3-D movie, doing a cool simulator, and a few other fun things.

A few weeks ago Dayton and I flew up to Virginia because my cousin Danielle was getting married and I couldn't miss it. It was a short trip but we had a lot of fun. This was Dayton's second plane ride and he did great I was very surprised. After landing in VA we were greeted by my Grandmama and my birth dad Mike (who I haven't seen in 2 years). I was a great little reunion but we had to rush to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.

The wedding was the next day and it was beautiful. Danielle was such gorgeous bride and i cried like a baby. LOL The wedding brought back such great memories for me. I LOVE to think back to my wonderful day. Eric is my best friend and such a wonderful Husband and Father that I truly do not know what i would do without him. I hope that Danielle and Chris have wonderful marriage.

So a good friend told me that 12 to 18 months were the best months with her children and i totally agree. We have seen a whole new Dayton for the past few months.

Dayton so far:

*Momma : OF COURSE!!!!

*Dadda- He LOVES his daddy and sure misses him while he is at work

*Papa- Erics dad, and my grandfather

*Pablo- from the Backyardagains which he cant get enough of

*Says Hott and blows on the food- that just happend recently when i handed him his lunch

*No no- thats a great one and he likes to talk back LOL

*Ball - he has this HUGE ball 2 times the size of him and he LOVES it, he can find a ball anywhere

*Dayton LOVES to dance, he even dances with his own song TIKA TIKA TIKA. To tell you the truth i have know clue where he gets his moves.

* I am pleased to say that he has 3 1/2 teeth the top four are coming in one after another. Its about dang time.

So we have found out after all Dayton does watch us. about a month ago he goes in the kitchen cabinet and pulls out the hot glove and wears it around the house, and just last week he went behind the door and pulled down one of Eric's church ties and was trying to tie it. LOL he is such a hoot.

Well there is so much more that the list can go on forever but i thought i would stop. He has such a different personality now and i cant wait for whats to come. Eric and I just love to sit back and watch whats next we get such a kick out of him.

Girls Weekend/Time Out For Women

This weekend some friends and I went down to Orlando for a totally needed TOFW conference. I wasn't able to attend last year and this conference reminded me what i missed. The speakers were great, inspirational, funny and had me crying too.
Well after driving we ate dinner at this great restaurant called Brio, shopped at a few stores in the mall then headed to the hotel.

The conference the next morning was like i said wonderful. I wrote many notes down but here are a few that stuck

OK so i know I'm late on this post but i did want to make it. Eric and celebrated our 3 year anniversary on March 4 with dinner at longhorn a little night alone just the 2 of us. The past three years have been such an amazing time with so many memories that will last a life time and so many more that will come. As our relationship grows we learn so much from each other. Eric is such an amazing, talented, wonderful, energetic, dedicated, lovable, funny, HOTT husband, father, friend, companion and soul mate. He always keeps me laughing and I love him so much i cant wait to spend many more year together (our Eternity)!!! LOVE YOU SWEETIE

Dayton the birthday boy!

Well today we celebrated Dayton's first birthday. Where did the year go..... i also say that now sitting here at 10:42 wondering where the day went. We woke up with Dayton this morning opened his presents from Mommy and Daddy and some family that live out of town. Dayton hung out with Aunt Nana and Braydon for a while while i cleaned, then i made 4 boxes of cakes, burnt myself and tried to make his cake look half way decent. Well fast forward a few hours...... The party began and it seemed like he had such a fun (since he cant really tell me) time opening the gifts and when it came down to singing and the cake he flipped out because he thought that everyone was screaming at him LOL but of course he got over that real quick when he saw that cake. Well i hope this year doesn't go by fast!!!

Problems

So i have noticed for the past few months that things have been weird with my body. Everyone and everything i have read and heard said that your body doesn't really get back to normal for like 1-2 yrs after the baby comes so i just brushed everything off, the chills, shaking, fast weight lose (not that I'm complaining), shortness in breath and being tired always. I couldn't brush it off forever my pulse started beating fast 123 beats per min and then faster to 147 beats per min.
So this past Monday i went to the doctor's she took blood and did an EKG.... well results came back today and i have pretty bad Thyroid problem. My mom also has a Thyroid problem i have Hyperactive and she has Hyporactive. For those of you who don't know about your thyroid here is some info just in case you start have the same signs as me.

~~ What is hyperthyroidism?
The term hyperthyroidism refers to any condition in which there is too much thyroid hormone in the body. In other words, the thyroid gland is overactive
~~ What is a thyroid?
small, butterfly-shaped gland below the Adam's apple.
~~ What does the thyroid do?
controlling the body's metabolism by regulating thyroid hormones (T4 and T3)
~~ When something goes wrong..
if the gland produces too much hormone we term the condition Hyperthyroidism
if the gland makes to little, we call this Hypothyroidism.
~~ Symptoms
fast heart rate
eyes may bulge forward
nervousness
increased sweating
muscle weakness
trembling hands
weight loss
skin changes
increased frequency of bowel movements
decreased menstrual flow and less frequent menstrual flow

Well there is your patient education lesson.LOL
Now all i do is wait take pills and go to the Endocrinologists to see if it will go way with time or surgery.

~ Well the Month started out with a trip to Virgina my cousin Dani is having a baby boy at the end of January and i flew up there for her baby shower. While i was up there Dayton got his first diaper rash :(. We had a great time and Dayton and I saw my great grandmother and we took a 5 generation pic. It was super fun to see all my family.

Well while I have been busy so has Dayton. Overnight he went from an "army crawl" to a don't mess with me im on a roll crawl.... so much for a clean house! LOL It's great to see whats going to happen next. I totally don't want him to grow up at all I just love to see his new personalities come out and to see what is coming up. Dayton has come so far in 8 1/2 months and it flew by like a flash.

On Monday, October 13th Braydon made is appearance into world. He didnt waste anytime at all either Brianna woke Steve up at 4:30 got to the hospital at 5:00 and had him at 6:36.They say the more you have the faster they come. We all had a long morning but it is such a miracle to see a birth happening. I experienced (felt it) it with Dayton and now saw it with Braydon. He is such a sweet baby and look just like his sister Maddy. It makes me want another........... dont worry not now!!!!!!

6 months and Growing..................

I have been busy for the past couple of days and haven't been able to post about Dayton's 6th month appointment. He is growing like a weed and keeps me on my feet all the time. Can't wait until he starts walking!!!!! Like i always say he is such a blessing and i am so thankful that i am able to spend my whole day with him so i don't miss a beat. He is the best thing that has every happened to me (besides Eric).
Weight - 18 lbs 9oz (70%) Height - 27.25th inches (75%) Head 44 1/2cm (65%). The two nurses came in and double timed him with two shots at the same time, it was just oh so sad. I can't stand needles at all and i couldn't imagine a little baby getting a shot :(. Other than that Dayton is doing great and they all think he is adorable!!!! LOL

I was very excited this past week to have me cousin in town from Virginia for a few days. She is such a sweet and wonderful young woman and i love her to death! Danielle is 17 weeks pregnant and due in January and i just can't wait. Being a mother for me is so wonderful i feel like it has changed my life in more ways than one. Dayton has brought such great joy to Eric and I that there's not even words to explain. It flys by in a blink of and eye. I just hope the Dani will enjoy each and every experience she gets with the new bundle of joy. I LOVE YOU SWEETIE!!!!!

Or last camp out Dayton did so well we thought we would try in again. Boy Scouts here we come! The weather was wonderful and i didn't feel any mosquitoes. I did have alittle spider scare when i opened my car and this HUGE i mean HUGE spider came out EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! All and all it was an AWESOME trip and we had a great time.

We did make the decision not to try the beach this time which was totally ok with us because we were leaving the next night for the BEACH HOUSE. Everyone is very greatful for Eric's grandmother each summer she rents a beach house in Vilano Beach so we can all have a much needed vacation. Eric, Dayton and I stayed a few nights came home and worked a few nights and then went back. THANKS GRANDMA DUREN!!!!!!

Since my last post a lot of things have been going on. I hope i can sum up everything in my next few posts.
Well My little Doodle Bug is rolling all over the place. I think its funny because he hated being on his stomach so he would just roll to his back...... now he's all over the place. You leave him for a second and he is across the room!!! LOL

HIS UGLY EYE INFECTION
Well about a month ago Dayton's blocked tear duck (which he has had since he was born) managed to get a bit worse. One Saturday morning we woke up to an adorably cute one eyed boy. Luckily up until now Dayton hasn't had any infections or sickness so of course being the new parents that we are......Eric checks out the computer and i hit the books and in the end we took him up to Solantic oh and FYI they don't take babies less than 6 months, but since we were there the doctor allowed it THANK GOODNESS!!!!! In the end we walk out of there with a $40.00 dollar bill and a prescription for some eye drops.

Dayton had his first camping experience this weekend! My family went with Eric's brothers family to Ft Clinch for just one night! Despite being way to young to camp Dayton actually seem to enjoy being out there and did really good (by good meaning no crying)! Saturday morning we packed and took Dayton on his first beach outing which lasted all of about 10 minutes (little to young for that as well)! All and all we had a great time!

I’m so glad summer is finally here. We have a lot to look forward to with the beach house in July but we have also been really busy too. My little man had an appt last week were he received a shot :( (Very sad) but they did let me know Dayton is doing great and he is 14 lbs and 12 oz. Well so far this summer we have been having a fun time hanging out at Mimi’s pool, Dayton loves the water!!!! The last time we were there we celebrated Ty-Ty's (Tyler) second birthday. We also went to KeyStone Heights to Brianna and Steve’s lake house rental for the day and had a blast. Unfortunately we didn't take pictures of us on the Jet Ski or Eric Wakeboarding but here are some others......

For the past few days Dayton has been in talking mode. It's so fun waiting and wondering what he will do next. I just had to get the camera out and get a cute video of him right before we left to go shopping. I think that he is going to be a shopper just like his mommy.
So i know that he is my son but he is just the cutest baby i have ever seen!!! LOL he has gotten so chunky his little bird legs are now big rolls and those cheeks i could eat them up. I just am so happy he is ours he keeps us entertained even when he is sleeping!!!!! He is really just yelling in this video but its so cute!!!

This past weekend was a pretty busy one. My grandparents came in on Thursday morning. Then on Friday my brother finally tied the knot. The three of us drove to Amelia Island to see the spectacular ceremony. We had a great time im just so happy for them.

Krystal & Noel: I bet you and Noel are so so happy to finally say WE ARE FINISHED just a couple of months left and school will be over!!! I'm glad that the both of you were able to become part of our ward family even if it is for a short 2 years. Krystal I'm going to miss you and your oh so cute kids if i ever need a good laugh i can always read a story about Alley or Damon and it will totally make me crack up. I had fun hanging out with you and you totally keep the party alive. Noel, Smokey Bones won't be the same without y'all. I had a great time getting to know you, i just love how you don't keep anything back and Greg gets on to you. Its just priceless!!! Your little man will truly missed. Its been a blast watching him grow and see what i get to look forward to in the future.
I hope that we can all keep in touch with each other.

So today i finally got up the guts to tell my boss i'm not coming back. It's been lingering on my mind for awhile now, should i go back or stay home. We found out that daycare is about $185 a week which is ridiculous and if i worked i would only make about $300 extra besides the time i wont be spending with my precious boy.

I feel that if it is at all possible to stay at home with our newborn you should. Just think if you have a full time job you get up and get you and your baby ready for the day, drop him off and you get to work at about 8:30 you finally leave work about 5 and pick him up get home make dinner sit for about an hour and go to bed. There is just no "family" time at all, and for me being a new mom i have realized your baby needs as much attention as you can give them. I also won't be beneficial at work because i will be thinking of my doodle bug all day with tears in my eyes!! All i hope is that they understand the reason why. FAMILY COMES BEFORE ANYTHING even work!!!!!

About a 2 weeks ago we walked into Sam's Club and got pulled aside at the door by a gentleman from Picture Innovations. He then started explaining this deal that they were having for 9.95 you get a free 10x13 photo and 5 different poses and there will be plenty of others to purchase. Well i wasn't going to go for it but Eric said that it sounded like a good deal, so i asked him a few questions and then filled out the forms. We went the other day to get our pictures done when we got there it was totally not what the gentleman said. They took 3 poses not 5, we couldn't pick the picture we wanted to be in the 10x13 the picked it for us and the cheapest package was $90.00 oh and one 8x10 was $40.00. So needless to say we went to Blue Cypress and had them done!!!! I sent the proofs to Walgreen's and for 15.00 we got 17 pictures and 4 of them are 8x10. Check them out and see what you think!!!!

Today my little doodle bug is 6 weeks old. I can't believe that time just goes by so fast!!!

Dayton's next appt. isn't until April 28th so i will have a update on his weight and height then, but he is growing like a little weed. As for me i cant wait for my appt., which is tomorrow so the doctor can give me the ok to work-out and i can get back to normal (my body). LOL
Well its about 11:45pm and he has finally fallen asleep...... For some reason it's so hard to get him down at night. With Eric teaching seminary early in the morning we try to get to bed at a decent hour but Dayton likes to be wide awake (of course). When i do get him to bed he sleeps through the night............... most of the time!!!
My bed is calling, time to get some much needed rest!!!!

I guess since i haven't written a blog in a while i should get on it.................

Dayton is 5 weeks old today and he is growing like a weed! I never realized that time could go by so fast, it took forever for him to get here and now time just flys by. But being a mother is one of the best thing that's happened to me next to meeting and marrying my wonderful husband. Eric and I started a new chapter in our lives on March 4, 2006 and on February 26, 2008 again we flip the pages. Dayton has brought such joy to our lives in the 5 weeks he has been here just sitting back and remembering my pregnancy finding out for the first time we were having a boy to feeling him kick, roll and get the hiccups, now we see everything. ITS PRETTY AMAZING.

So i guess i should start writing my blogs now and not let my page stand under construction forever................. LOL
Well where do i begin????
LIFE, it doesn't seem like a big word when your reading it or even typing it but we all know it is and that one word has changed my world for the better!!!
On February 26, 2008 Eric and I brought a new life into the world. After 31 hours of labor and 4 hours of pushing Dayton Ross Williams was born at 3:14pm 8 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long. I never imagined it would take such a long long time but in the end it totally was worth every second.
It's so AMAZING the thought of him growing inside of me for 9 months, feeling the little kicks, rolls and even the hiccups hearing the heart beat and knowing that he's ours, and that the lord has chosen us to raise him!!!!!
